Dorine Duives, CityFlows Project Lead Wins Second Place of the EIT Awards 2020 in the Woman Category

On December 9, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) proudly announced the winners of its prestigious innovation prize, the EIT Awards. In a virtual celebration of innovation, showcasing the achievements of successful graduates, entrepreneurs and innovators supported by the EIT Community, the 2020 EIT Awards winners were chosen by an international jury from 26 nominees competing in four categories.

Dorine Duives, Assistant Professor Active Modes at Delft University of Technology and CityFlows Project Lead, supported by EIT Urban Mobility, was awarded the second prize of the EIT Awards in the category of EIT Woman Leadership and Entrepreneurship Category. The award recognizes Dorine’s outstanding contributions to the field of sustainable mobility through the use of innovative crowd management decision support systems to improve the accessibility and livability of pedestrian areas.
